Mr ALISTER HENSKENS (Wahroonga)—The Wahroonga Electorate is home to the Wahroonga, Turramurra and Ku-ring-gai Rotary clubs. Each year, the Presidents of each club pass the baton to a new leader during their annual changeover dinner. This year I attended the Turramurra and Ku-ring-gai Changeover Dinners. I congratulate Ku-ring-gai Rotary's 2023-24 Joint Presidents Ted Price and Malcolm Braid, and I thank former President Chris Lewis for his leadership. Likewise, I joined Turramurra Rotary's annual changeover dinner and I congratulate the new President Dallas Booth and also wish former President Ian Spencer all the best and thank him for his leadership. I was regrettably unable to attend Wahroonga Rotary's changeover dinner this year but I congratulate the new President Mentie Knowles and thank former President Peter Kirkwood for his efforts as a Rotary President. Leadership is a special trait that very few possess, and I have no doubt that the new leaders will thrive in their roles using their experience in Rotary and long-standing service to the community.
