Sydney Adventist Hospital
Mr ALISTER HENSKENS (Wahroonga) (18:19): I commend the Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga, the San, for its incredible work and for being ranked the highest for outpatient cancer services. Amongst the many New South Wales metropolitan hospitals in the annual Outpatient Cancer Clinics Survey, the integrated cancer centre at the San was ranked number one for the seventh consecutive year. Patients experiencing outpatient cancer care across New South Wales are independently surveyed every year. This year nearly 10,000 patients from 44 public and private facilities participated in the survey. The San achieved the highest rankings in five key measures, including providing safe, high-quality care from the clinic; attentive health professionals who listen to patients' views and concerns; well organised care; convenient appointment access; and clinic cleanliness. That remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the professionalism and compassionate nature of Brett Goods and all of the health professionals and staff at the San. I congratulate them on their outstanding service to our community.
