New Diving Blocks for Ku-ring-gai Swim Club
Member for Ku-ring-gai Alister Henskens SC MP has attended the official opening of Ku-ring-gai Amateur Swimming Club’s (KASC) new diving blocks located at the YMCA Fitness and Aquatic Centre in West Pymble.
The works were delivered as part of the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership (CBP) Program with the club receiving $31,500. The CBP program aims to create more vibrant and inclusive communities by supporting infrastructure projects that encourage community participation, inclusion and cohesion.
“These diving blocks will not just benefit the club but YMCA, local schools and the wider Ku-ring-gai community” Mr Henskens said.
Alister cut the ribbon with Club Patron, Judy Macourt OAM and was joined by club members and their families.
