Mr ALISTER HENSKENS (Wahroonga)—An esteemed group of 26 bowling clubs from the Upper North Shore and Northern Beaches recently competed in the 2022-2023 Pennant, an annual bowls competition. Pleasingly, Warrawee Bowling Club in the Wahroonga electorate took first place in the Grade 7 Men's section organised by the Sydney Northern District Bowls Association. This is a significant achievement for the club, as their last victory in this competition was secured in the 1938-1939 season. The club has also transformed recently introducing new concepts to stay ahead. Patrons can now enjoy Stan Sports on Friday and Saturday nights, a range of new culinary options, and even place orders via MenuLog, Uber Eats or DoorDash.
